     "Belinda" is a c.1862-65 spoon bonnet with a square brim. This one is dressed for mourning with a cover and curtain of crape with folds of crape decorating the crown and brim.  A full cap of black rayon netting fills the underside of the brim.  3" black rayon ribbons form the ties.  This bonnet can be decorated as a dressy bonnet in other colors and employing flowers, ribbon, lace and/or feathers to create a more festive mood. This bonnet, as shown, $200 Please click photo for additional views.  Sold   "Rebecca" . a  black straw braid bonnet, blocked and wired and based on an original in my collection.  The outer brim is decorated with  black  chantilly lace, lavender fabric flowers, loops of black silk satin, all vintage, and bows of black silk ribbon.  The ties are also silk.  The inner brim features a narrow band of black cotton velvet which covers the wire.  The crown is lined in black silk.  This bonnet is suitable for second or light mourning and may be worn in the 1870's-80's. $140.  "Ardith," Mid-1880's Peaked Brim Mourning Bonnet of wired buckram, covered in silk crepe and lined with black harem cloth. Brim edged with grosgrain ribbon.     "Polly," Early to mid-60's Black Silk and Silk Crepe 2nd Mourning Bonnet with deep curtain and quilling of white silk crepe under the brim. Fully lined in black silk. May also be ordered in all black for a deep mourning impression. Click on photo for additional images.$165.   Sold  Please remember, most sold items can be replicated   "Sadie" is a full mourning bonnet in the bebe' style, based on an original in my collection.  She has a wired and blocked buckram base, covered in silk and overlaid with crape.  The decorations consist of folds of crape and shirred grosgrain ribbon, as on the original.  This shape is appropriate for the 1870's into the early to mid 80's.  $155.
